Fee Schedule

In effect since January 1, 2002:

School-based activities
On-site: $600 per diem
includes workshops, presentations, test development or scoring activities, etc.

Home office: $500 per diem
resource development, preparation/planning, review of classroom artifacts, etc.

Sub-contracted work for organizations/institutions
(other than schools/school systems): $1,000 per diem

Literature/Research Reviews and Book Talks: $1000 per diem

Rates may be negotiated based on scope of work and special status (such as not-for-profit organization, community group, etc.)

• In addition to per diem rate, reimbursement must be provided for travel including $.35 per mile (or current LEA or organization rate if higher) or coverage for transportation by rail or air as appropriate), and may also include meals and overnight accomodations (if location is more than 150 miles round trip from Baltimore metropolitan area)

• When travel requires two to five hours in transit each way, a half-day surcharge will be added; when travel requires more than five hours in transit each way, a full day surcharge will be added
